Kbuck aggregates and displays information about vehicles in the public auctions of the Houston Police Department (HPD) and the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Data comes from public sources — HPD, Harris County Sheriff, NHTSA, NICB, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, VINinspect, and similar services. Kbuck does not generate, edit, guarantee, or verify any of this information. We only aggregate, organize, and present it for your reference.
2. No affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship
KBUCK GROUP IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, OR SPONSORED BY:
• The City of Houston
• Houston Police Department (HPD)
• Harris County
• Harris County Sheriff's Office
• Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (Texas DMV)
• National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
• National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB)
• Any government agency or law enforcement entity

3. No guarantee of accuracy
Mileage / odometer: the odometer shown for each vehicle comes from the most recent Texas DMV inspection record. That reading may be weeks, months, or years old and does not necessarily reflect the vehicle's current mileage.
Estimated value: an indicative figure computed from year, make, model, and recorded mileage. It is not the auction sale price and not a professional appraisal. The final price is determined at the auction.
Dates, times, locations, and vehicle attributes may change without notice. Always confirm directly with HPD or the Sheriff before attending or bidding.
4. Buyer due diligence
Before bidding on, buying, or making any financial decision regarding a vehicle, you are expected to:
• Personally inspect the vehicle at the lot
• Verify the title and the VIN
• Confirm date, time, and place with the organizing authority
• Consult a mechanic you trust if needed
Kbuck does not replace any of these steps.
5. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KBUCK GROUP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".
IN NO EVENT SHALL KBUCK GROUP, ITS DEVELOPERS, OPERATORS, OFFICERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IF ANY LIABILITY IS FOUND, KBUCK GROUP'S MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
6. Permitted use
Kbuck's auction listings are a free service for personal, non-commercial use. The Vehicle History Reports are a paid add-on (see section 7B). The following are NOT permitted: automated scraping, crawling, or bulk data extraction of the listings; commercial redistribution or reselling of the listings, scraped attributes, or downloaded reports; reverse engineering or attempts to circumvent technical limits; creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions; using the Service for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in immediate ban without notice and Kbuck reserves the right to pursue legal remedies.
7. Personal data
To identify the user and sync favorites across devices, Kbuck uses Sign in with Google. We store: your email address, public Google display name, optional profile picture, the VINs you mark as favorites, an audit record of when you accepted these terms (with IP address and user agent for legal compliance), and a record of any Vehicle History Reports you purchase. Full details, your rights, and how to request deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.
7B. Vehicle History Reports (Carfax) — paid add-on service
Kbuck offers Vehicle History Reports ("Carfax" / "VHR Reports") as an optional paid service at $3.99 per VIN. These reports are sourced from CheapVHR, our licensed data reseller. "Carfax" is a registered trademark of Carfax, Inc.; references to it on Kbuck are descriptive and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship by Carfax, Inc.
Reports are informational, sourced from third parties, and may be incomplete or out of date — they do not replace a personal inspection of the vehicle. Reports are cached for ninety (90) days after first delivery; during that window, you may re-view a purchased report any number of times at no additional charge.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; Kbuck does not store your full card number or CVV. If a report cannot be generated for the VIN you purchased (e.g., the third-party provider has no record), your payment is automatically refunded in full and our support team is notified. 8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kbuck Group, its developers, operators, officers, and contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party right, or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
10. Binding arbitration and class-action waiver
For any dispute exceeding USD $1,000 in amount, you and Kbuck Group agree to resolve the dispute by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration to take place in Houston, Texas. The arbitrator's award shall be final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Disputes of USD $1,000 or less may proceed in small-claims court in Harris County, Texas.
11. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Kbuck Group regarding the Service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes trigger a version bump and you will be required to accept the new version before continuing to use the Service. The current version is shown in the header of this page.
13. Acceptance
By clicking "Accept the terms", you confirm that: (a) you have read and understood these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy; (b) you are at least eighteen (18) years old; (c) you acknowledge that Kbuck is a purely informational service; (d) you release Kbuck Group from any liability arising from your use of the information presented; and (e) you agree to the indemnification, governing law, and arbitration provisions above.
